The SPAREA 2 Chair Rack includes one (1) Base Platform and one (1) 2 Chair Rack Addition.
The Base Platform (BP):
Building your SPAREA Rack begins with the Base Platform. Every day that we enjoy the outdoors we find new ideas for additions to add to the Base Platform and the SPAREA Product line. Maybe you want to set one up for beach days and another for hiking and camping. We are continuously coming up with muddy, dirty, sandy, sharp or just simply awkward items we would rather transport outside our vehicle. Follow us for upcoming new products to add to your Base Platform or send us your idea on what you would like to be able to store in your SPARE AREA.
What the Base Platform consist of: One bottom U bracket, one Top U Bracket, two T Joints (one right and one left) and one ratcheting rope tie-down. Along with one Master Lock Python Cable Lock providing security and safety for your SPAREA Rack.
Maximum Recommended Weight Capacity = 60 lbs.
The 2 Chair Rack (2CR):
The 2 Chair Rack Addition (2CR) makes transporting your 2 adult size beach chairs a breeze. No more scratching the interior of your Jeep with sharp-edged sand covered beach chairs.
Once your 2CR is attached to your Base Platform and together they are installed on your spare tire you are mere moments away from heading to the water. Simply hook on your beach chairs, strap them in place and off to the beach you go. It even provides an extra storage platform as a bonus.
The days of fighting with a heavy, awkward, access restrictive hitch racks are over. Open the rear door whenever you want without extra steps or unloading and removing a heavy hitch rack. The SPAREA rack swings open with the door loaded or unloaded.
What the 2 Chair Rack consists of: One 2CR top and two vertical supports.

Note* Certain combinations of tire size, spare tire carrier and vehicle top (hard or soft) will include a 3/8" or 2" wheel spacer that is to be installed between the spare tire and spare tire carrier. Certain custom wheel and tire combinations may require a 3/8" or 2" spacer that is not included. The 3/8" wheel spacer can be purchased separately here. The 2" wheel spacer can be purchased separately here.
